PORTFOLIO MANAGEMENT SERVICE
Includes portfolio analysis, advice and management.
Options:
FIMARGE MANAGEMENT
Priority option:
Fimarge manages the client’s assets on a discretionary basis, under parameters agreed with the client.
Fimarge deals directly with the client.
The client has the option of including assets not invested by Fimarge and of vetoing certain sectors or companies (on ethical grounds), provided
these options do not exceed 20% of the total portfolio.
Responsibility for the work done and the results obtained lies with Fimarge.
SHARED MANAGEMENT
Fimarge manages the assets jointly with the client.
Fimarge deals directly with the client.
This includes both the case where Fimarge recommends specific investments and the client decides, and the case where the client requests
specific investments on the client’s sole initiative (the service will be considered Shared Management where direct client requests account for more
than 20% of the portfolio volume).
Responsibility for the work done and the results obtained is shared between the client and Fimarge.
This option requires close personal collaboration with the client, without Fimarge having either full control over the investment outcome or
the possibility of a performance bonus (which is why in this option the fees are higher than in the previous case).
CLIENT MANAGEMENT
The client / external asset manager manages the client’s portfolio directly (transmits buy/sell orders directly to Fimarge’s DOR). Fimarge provides execution services but has no decision-making capacity and bears no responsibility for investment performance.
Advantages:
- Lower costs than would be obtained through the banks
- Greater confidentiality for the client (in relation to banks, family members and other parties)
- Fast, flexible and close relationship with Fimarge
CASH MANAGEMENT
Uninvested portfolio or portfolio invested in (1) bank deposit on special terms, or (2) money market, always with daily liquidity (except in market
stress situations).
